Rainy Day

It's a rainy day here and of course I'm outside getting wet taking pictures but I just love this picture! The water drops are so precise and if you look at the ones about to fall off the green stem you can see a reflection of the house. (original photo - no editing at all....)

Documentary Photographer

I came across this photographer's web-site and had to share it with everyone! She has some amazing photographs that really capture the emotion of the moment. I absolutley love how most of her work is in black & white......it just portrays something different.

The images of The Santa Martha Prison hit you hard.

I hope you enjoy her work as much as I have :)

Sunset

When I was walking my dog tonight I noticed the sky and thought it was going to be a great sunset so when I got home I grabbed my camera and headed to the beach. The fog was rolling in quick so I made a quick detour to a park I knew of that over looked Laguna Beach and was about eye level with the fog as it was coming in. It was so different for a change and neat! I met some nice ladies up there as well :)

Enjoy!

Christopher Meyer Memorial

Our great friend Christopher Meyer passed away 3 years ago in a car accident. We were invited by his parents to partake in a memorial for him with his family. It was beautiful weather for the boat ride to spread his ashes at sea. It was a tough day but so glad that we were able to share it with his family and capture these pictures for his family. We love you Meyer!

Sawdust Festival

I had the chance to go to the Sawdust Festival last night in Laguna Beach. There were quite a few photographer booths there and saw some amazing work! It sure does make me want to travel more and photograph everything!

This is Baby DJ, one of my best friends son. She was giving him a tiny lick of lemonade and he sure did make the funniest faces! I'm glad I was able to capture them....they sure do make you smile :)

Happy 4th of July!!!

Hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th of July! I went to the Angel game and took these with my small point and shoot camera :) Gotta love Canon!!!

Pam & Chris Wedding

Pam and Chris got married in November 2009. The ceremony was in a gorgeous catholic church....the alter was all marble! The fall colors were so appropriate and everything flowed so well together. To many years of happiness to my friends :) Can't wait till they have a baby!!!

Pam & Chris Engagement

Pam and Chris wanted to go to the Huntington Library in San Marino for their engagement photos in October 2009. I had never been there before but quickly realized why they wanted to go there. It is beautiful!!! There are so many different themed gardens and they are kept up so nice. Pam and Chris are so cute together and he treats her like his princess :)

I love the bridge in the background here!

Erin & Andy's Baby Girl

I was so excited that I had the opportunity to be back in Seattle the week after Erin had her baby! Erin is one of my dearest friends and is a wonderful mother already to Ryleigh, who was only 8 days old here. With all the excitement, we forgot to get a picture of Erin, Ryleigh and myself....I was so bummed! Guess I'll just have to travel to Seattle again soon :)

These were the little pink ballerina shoes from Erin's prego session....had to get them in there again for a pic :)

Sweet family!

Nothing like a Mother's touch!

Erin Prego Session

Here are a few favorites from Erin's prego session in March 2010. We sure had a great time and lots of laughs as usual :) The weather turned out to be beautiful in Kirkland down by the water that day!
